Namaste...This is something personal here ... but something that we all have to experience in our lives ... One of my sisters suggested that I share the following poem.  Perhaps, these thoughts will be useful to you someday.  When someone leaves us, it really calls on all of our wisdom of spiritual practice to remember and understand the life cycle, the energy oneness of life and death and everything else that we can pull out of the archives.  Do you agree?

Sixteen years ago today, our Dad passed...at that time, I wrote this poem.  Today I am rededicating this poem to my Sisters ... for our Dad truly lives on each one of Us ... Thank You for that ...

A MOMENT IN TIME

Bright thoughts floating in Space
Chose Him to be our Father.

Gathered together for a moment in Time
We seek to find the Truth.

Climbing Mountains.
Swimming in the sea.
Gazing at the Desert Night Sky.

Pines.
Wildflowers.
Waves and their salty taste.
Suns, Stars and Moons.

Colors, Sounds and Scents.
Leading to that Love of Nature.
And a quiet Passion for Life.

Are these the clues to our Existence?

Unable to stay with us.
He is neither here nor there.
For now…He is everywhere.
Our Dad is Everywhere.

A special Light that will continue to Glow
And help Us find the Way.

Happy new beginnings for Everyone...thank you....

Good Evening...I just posted BuddhaFace 95 on the Gallery page.  It is a Sun and features our inner Flame...my Spring Equinox gift for YOU.
Happy Spring ...and here's to New Beginnings

I AM ... a Flower ... an iris floating in the lotus pond ... my petals reach to the the new Spring Sun ... as every atom of Me is opening to this energy,  I am being filled with a new and powerful passion for Life and Love.  And then reflecting off the mirrorlike still water of the pond, I clearly see the Beauty of our Oneness ... Thank You.

I see you in the pond, too.  Do you want to play?  When I used to guide the children in Sacred Circle, I would sometimes  suggest to one or two of the children to use their imagination, to pretend, that they could hear a tree talking or see themselves as a flower ... I feel that through our imagination we can open our minds and hearts to see the subtle beauties of life ... Blessings!  Thank you for being here.

Namaste! ... and Happy Spring Equinox ... this is the day (and that will vary according to where you are on the planet) when there is equality between day and night.   Could this be meaningful for us when looking at our personal lives, too?  Maybe so ... I am looking for more understanding and inner peace  ... yes, an equality or harmonizing of my yin and yang, my lighter and darker sides, during this balanced moment in time.

And YES ...Welcome to Springtime! ... and an increase in the Sun's energy giving us warmer and longer days.   I suppose it is evident that I have been awaiting this time  ... I have created two new sun pieces.  The one that I am working on now shows the energy of the rays and is perfect for Tom Lescher's mantra:  "Like the rays of the rising sun, my light scatters the darkness."  I have asked him permission to use it for this clay piece and he said, "Of course, we are All One."   Thank you.

Tom is an astrologer who talks of planetary influences and how they affect us and our world.  You can see him at New Paradigm Astrology:

I was also thinking that with Spring being the time of rebirth and renewal along with planting and growth, there is no better time than now to do some extra planting and watering of those seeds of love...Thich Nhat Hanh would agree.

My mantra for Spring:  I see Everyone and Everything wide open to receive LOVE.

Happy Monday...These days I have been doing much thinking about how important it is to be unwavering in walking our pathways of peace and keep planting those seeds of love...what else is there to do?  So I breathe, smile, and hold the space for love and compassion.  Thich Nhat Hanh will say "Peace is Every Step" which is also the title of his great book on everyday living.  Thank you...

Perhaps we can imagine that our lives are like a labyrinth.

Namaste  ...  thank you, dear friend, for bringing this Buddha into my awareness and onto this page..

                                   Another Buddha in a tree!
Everywhere I go, I look for a Buddha
                             Everywhere I go, I see a Buddha
Thank you ... Thank you ... Thank you

Upon investigation, I found this BuddhaFace to have a story... however, he lives on with his smile in a tree near an abandoned temple in Thailand.

Thank you for being here... I have been connecting with many of my big family ... and it is good... I close my eyes and feel your familiar energy...looking into the mirror of me, I see YOU...

I am now doing the finishing process on some just-fired BuddhaFaces ... It is fun connecting the mantras that were chanting through me at the time when the clay was wet and yielding to the mantra of the moment... There can be changes.  My secret is in looking at the image's BuddhaSmile to see the rightness of it all.

One of the new pieces is a BuddhaMask...it is inspired by the thought of putting on your BuddhaSmile when you are feeling out of balance.  It is said that wearing the BuddhaSmile will change your perception...from experience, I can agree.

So with this piece that I call the BuddhaMask...it is another reminder of our BuddhaNatures...feeling grounded and seeing the truth of our interconnection...reminding us that we are not alone...just put on your BuddhaMask to get back to your true self...that place where you feel loving and loved.  This clay image will be posted very soon in the Gallery.  Namaste!

There is Pema Chodron, a beautiful Buddhist nun, who talks on this subject.  Years ago, I first read an article by her telling of the BuddhaSmile...and now she has a book on that subject... Smile at Fear...yeaaaa for us...Check her out...

Hello...March...
Years ago an old friend told me of the tradition to say "Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit" on the first day of every month.  She said it made magical things happen.  I do not remember if she explained any more on that, but I have come up with an extended meaning.  Perhaps, the chant invites magical rabbits into our lives...the kind as in the story of Alice in Wonderland.

Do you think if we remember to look for and follow the rabbit, doors will open, and miracles and magic will appear right before us?  I say...YES!

So I chant it again for me and for YOU...always looking for the rabbits.
