 Bronze Buddha

Namaste to YOU ... It is true ...  I see a Buddha everywhere ... BuddhaFriends sent this photo of a beautiful Buddha that meditates under their dogwood tree.

Ahh ... a mala, too.

Thank you...Thank you

Hello, to the Universe on this beautiful Friday morning ... I stand gazing at the river that flows to the sea knowing that all waters are connected.   Holding that thought, I look to our BuddhaWall, with its many Buddha Faces, overlooking this river ... I smile for I know it is continually sending out messages of Peace through the running water.*

And in staying with the ritual of the morning, I picked up my small Tibetan prayer wheel ...  and spun it around and around consciously sending out blessings for our awakening to the Oneness of all things.  May we visualize all the prayer wheels of the world joining together in this endeavor toward harmony.**

Thanks to my friend, Allisun ... Here is a photo of one prayer wheel that you can see in the Land of Medicine Buddha found in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Thank you for joining me in our Awakening!

Sending messages through the water and turning my prayer wheel are just two small things that I can do.

*After the very intense study of water vibrations, Dr. Emoto has scientifically proven that water responds to intentional thoughts ... calling on us to be loving to the water we drink and the flowing waters of Earth for a own health and the well being of our planet.  Learn more ... go to:

**Prayer wheels are devices that are used for spreading spiritual blessings.  A prayer is written or imprinted on a cylinder and spun around and around sending out the message.  Prayer wheels can be small and hand held or very large.  You can look at this site for more info:

Namaste ... Universe ... Happy Monday to YOU!  I have bells on my mind and in my heart.

Bells and Prayer Flags in India

I love bells.   In my early early days before I realized any spiritual implications, I knew that I just "felt good" when the bell sounded.  I started to collect dinner bells made of different metals and materials ...  pewter, crystal, brass, wooden.  Eventually, that passion moved on to India bells of all sizes, Tibetan healing bowls, chimes, and gongs ...

I have them in my home and now I know through spiritual study and practice that the sounding of the bells brings one to the present moment ... Thich Nhat Nanh teaches, "When we listen to the meditation bell, we calm our thoughts and restore ourselves."

And then there are the large temple bells.  (I don't have one of these ... but I can visualize it hanging from our banyan tree.)  I am carving one into a clay relief that I started a couple of days ago.  Because of this endeavor, I have been looking at different photos.  Here are a few of these beauties ...

Listen Listen Listen ... May the sound of the bell penetrate deeply into the cosmos.  May all beings hear it clearly.  May all beings be brought to the present moment.
Thank you very much!

Namaste ... ahhh ... I take a deep breathe and smile.  With the thoughts of the duality of life always swirling around me, I thought I would post the photo of this stepping stone that I painted a few years back.  Perhaps, the mystery of duality is in your thoughts, too, and you will find this synchronistic.

The stepping stone lies under the banyan tree in my yard.  I see it several times a day and it reminds me to work toward balance.   In spending some time with this thought, I was browsing through the Tao Te Ching and noticed that, at some time, I had written this definition of the yin and yang on the inside cover ...

"The yin and yang is not ordinary dualism, but an explicit duality expressing an implicit unity."

I like that...

Thank you for being here...in the little and big picture.

Hello, Universe ... Last night I was sitting with some friends in front of a fire.  Gazing into the dancing flames led us to chanting and toning, telling stories of life, and, absolutely, clarifying the mysteries of YOU.  Ahhh ... Happy April First ... actually, this photo tells of another time and space ... three women opening to the moment of connection and love.   However, that blissful feeling goes on and on in my heart and feels so close.   So what do you think ... can the time and space of everything become confused and looked upon as One in the big picture?  Namaste!

With all of us having beautiful experiences, I  know you have been here before ... letting the love in ... sharing moments with friends and family.  I invite you to another celebration.  Please come and share the flame of our interconnection.  It is an open circle perpetually turning and turning ... growing and growing.  It is happening now.  I see you here and there on the BuddhaFamily page.  Thank you ...
